Raymond Hecker, Vice President General Manager

Prior to joining Franek Technologies, Inc. (FTI), Raymond Hecker served as Quintiles Transnational Corporation’s (QTRN) Informatics Group International Director of Business Development (Amaxis, Inc.). In that capacity he was responsible for the re-opening of the Latin (Mexico) and South American markets as well as working on a number of key alliances for the healthcare informatics sector. Hecker was instrumental is securing contracts and business commitments from Pfizer and Roche in both Mexico and Brazil for business intelligences services and projects, as well as, securing the largest informatics and e-business intelligence orders in Quintiles Informatics’ history.

Hecker has over 10 years of international business development experience with noted organizations including Medical Data International (MDI), an IHS Group company, Nihon Kohden and Baxter International, where he was responsible for overseeing business development and the introduction of a number of informatics and instrumentation products, into the US domestic and international marketplace.

Hecker has over 20 years experience in the healthcare industry and has been engaged in applying his business development expertise in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices market segments. In addition, he holds two medical devices patents and has managed instrumentation development teams, including the application of laboratory productivity/protection systems (LPS). He is a conference speaker and has presented a number of key topics including managed care, reimbursement and distribution issues for a number of healthcare organizations.

Hecker’s accomplishments also include the development and launch of clinical chemistry, diagnostic imaging and critical care monitoring systems on a global basis. Hecker has been an active contributor on a number of industry working groups. His primary FTI efforts involve working to assist healthcare organizations meet productivity improvement and the FDA’s new 21 CFR Part 11 electronic records compliance. Hecker holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BS Engineering degree with post graduate work, from the University of Illinois.
